An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. By visiting R5 Skinworks property, you knowingly and voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19, but know that we are following all CDC, WHO, State and County protocols.

Providing timely, expert, compassionate care in a safe environment has always been our mission, and we’re more dedicated than ever to delivering on those promises.

Appointment Protocols

 

  • All appointment scheduling now includes an expanded range of Covid-19 related questions. Clients will not be scheduled (or allowed to enter the studio) if they exhibit any combination of the following: fever, new shortness of breath, dry cough, feel sick. To be seen, clients will need to be symptom-free for at least 24 hours without any use of cough or fever suppressing medications. They will be asked to sign a Waiver.

 

  • Timeslots for in-studio appointments will be organized with buffer periods to reduce client-to-client interactions as much as possible.

 

  • Only the client will be allowed in the studio. We are only allowed 10 people in the whole Salon at one time. Please come alone.

 

  • Clients are being encouraged to complete all required paperwork prior to coming to the studio. If paperwork is pending, the client may be required to complete it in their vehicle, prior to their appointment.

Due to disinfecting protocols between patients, R5 Skinworks has limited appointments to 10am, 2pm & 5pm daily accept Wednesdays, when only 5pm is available, and closed Sundays.

To help alleviate any concerns you may have about coming to the studio, here is a bulleted overview of the aggressive precautionary measures we are undertaking to make your visit as safe as possible:

In-Studio Protocols:

 

  • Call/text when you arrive and remain in your car until we text/call, to accommodate for “social distancing.”

 

  • Hand sanitizers are to be used upon arrival.

 

  • Clients will be screened for a fever and sign a COVID-19 Waiver.

 

  • R5 Skinworks staff will be wearing a masks, gloves and a face shield during your entire visit to ensure everyone’s safety.

 

  • All clients will also be required to wear a face mask or cloth covering (e.g. bandanna) until it’s time for your facial.

 

  • Clients will be asked not to talk if their mask isn’t in place.

 

  • Wraps will be available.

 

  • Please bring socks. Floor mats have been removed. Please, no bare feet on the floor.

 

  • All linens, facial cloths, wraps and headbands will be bagged at the end of each session, to prevent any cross contamination or air-borne bacteria.

 

  • All high touch areas are being disinfected throughout the day with medical-grade sanitizers, antibacterial agents.

 

  • All facial equipment/tools will be disinfected after every client. An added layer of UV disinfecting has been implemented for handheld tools.

 

  • In addition, UV/Ozone Disinfecting will occur at night, in the studio.

 

  • NO Vendors or outside visitors will be allowed in the studio.

 

  • Options for “contactless payment” is available by providing your payment information at the time you schedule your appointment. Receipts will be emailed when email is available.

We are ready, willing, and able to provide expert Esthetics care! In addition to one-on-one appointments, Zoom appointments are available upon request, for consultation visits, reorders and non-urgent matters.
